Am I the only one that thinks if they could just hangout one time with a certain celebrity you’d totally just hit it off and be BFFs IRL? Anyone?
I know I’m not alone right … and over the last few years my celebrity-girl-gang-in-my-head has significantly expanded.
Of course it includes OG members like Beyonce, Solange, Mindy Kaling, Oprah and Blake Lively but over the last few years I’ve decided that new age millennial warriors like Yara Shahidi and Rowan Blanchard and ex Nicholas Sparks heroine Mandy Moore are absolutely celebrity-girl-gang-in-my-head material.
Don’t get me wrong. My friends IRL are magical, strong, amazing and beautiful unicorns and I can’t help but be attracted to their positive and confident personalities too.
Someone with a large personality like myself can find herself drained by always feeling the need to be “on” for others, so it’s refreshing to feed off the energy of genuinely amazing women– it’s powerful and energizing!
I can tell that my celebrity-girl-gang-in-my-head are made up of equal parts stylish, intellectual bada** warrior and vulnerable, sensitive darling that just knows how to get her point across and gets it done!
Speaking of getting things done, Old Navy introduced earlier this month their new Power Jean among other styles to Spring it forward, but I just love the idea behind the Power Jean.
It’s a classic straight fitting jean that has the ultimate styling power because we want to look good but we we have to continue running the word.
It has the littlest bit of stretch to fit perfectly over my curves and comes in a few washes. This light blue one works great with a Barbie Pink heel.
It’s a great fit that works with flats or sneakers which is totally real world-wearable but can defintiely be styled up to for a glam night with your celebrity-girl-gang-in-my-head.
