The Colour Tribe

An unexpected trip to my local ROSS store led me to find the perfect tribal print joggers that I didn’t know that I needed.

It always seems that when your looking for something specific that you can never find it, am I right?

I’ve been wanting a pair of jogger pants that looked good on my body.

I’ve tried so many but without any success.

They are usually too tight on for my body shape because of my honest hips (they don’t lie) and my donkey booty.  So I’ve kinda just washed my fashion hands and figured this would be one look I wouldn’t be able to wear unless I had them custom made.

Months have literally passed and I’ve forgotten about the idea until this past Friday.  I took my mom shopping for a few things and she wanted to stop at ROSS before we called it a night.  I was reluctant because the racks at ROSS can be sometimes disheveled and a real chore to sift your way through to score a fashion gem but to appease my mother I said yes.

While she was in the dressing room I strolled by the Plus pants sections hoping to find some yoga pants for the gym but instead a bold bright tribal printed something caught my eye.

I picked it up and and to my surprise they were joggers and in a 3X!

Meant to be? Only the fit would tell.

So as I begun to make my way to the back and embark on my dressing room chronicle I was hesitant but hopeful.

I slipped on the pants and not only did they fit but they were a little baggy!  It was the perfect slouchy look that I’ve been looking for in a jogger.

And what a steal at only $15!

Needless to say the joggers came home with me and I wore them the very next day to brunch with Carla of The Curious Natalia.

A top that had been sitting in my closet for a few months unworn  went perfectly with my new colorful pants.  Added my neon wedges and a bright handbag and finished the weekend look with my trusty fedora (although it fell off my head a few times so I don’t really know how trusty it can be).

I love this outfit came together and the flexibility it has.

It will go perfectly from day to night with a swap out of a few accessories and heels.  It will also come in handy when I travel.  I want to to look stylish and comfy at the same time.  Throw on a slouchy cardigan and some flats and I’m good to go through TSA security.
