I can’t even believe that it is already December! 2014 has seriously flown by and with only a month left it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. I’m busier than ever juggling the blog, work, service and my personal life but I’m so happy.
I can’t complain. I mean I could — but who cares.
We are all fighting battles — that’s a fact but what really is amazing is still having the ability to find joy and happiness in life regardless of the current drama unfolding. These simple pleasures are worthy of some pop and circumstance.
Some of my favorite simple pleasures are laughing at work even when it’s crazy and I want to quit, drinking yummy cozy tea in my jammies with a good book or a Netflix marathon and having amazingly deep yet hilarious conversations with my mom.
Taking the time to celebrate the little things is not the same as celebrating mediocrity. Loving life doesn’t require grand gestures, big homes, designer duds, large closets or thousands of followers on social media.
Sometimes it’s just having a bottle of champagne ready to pop in your fridge, holding hands with someone you love, giving yourself a compliment when trying on clothes or better yet giving someone else a compliment from your heart.
I just want to take the time so say thank you to all of you that follow & enjoy the blog. It’s always reaffirming to me (especially when I feel like giving up) that I’m doing the right thing when I hear from you that somehow you connected to my words or were even inspired.
