Music has always been a major part of my life highlighting those special moments.
I’m not the only one.
Music is that universal language that unites us all and helps intensify a certain emotion or feeling.
Some of my fondest memories of my parents are driving in the car listening to classic rock and R&B.
I was the only kid in first grade that knew who Phil Collins, Al Green and Fleetwood Mac were.
Today I’m bringing back those “feel good feelings” on vinyl with Walmart. The selection they have of the music that made up my childhood and modern jams equally sound great on their selection of classic old school record players.
I picked up a few vinyl records to fill my heart and home with music. There’s something about listening to a classic on vinyl and I was so amped to get so many eclectic genres in one spot.
You could honestly get lost in memories and music from Walmart’s selection of vinyl and I’m sharing my faves below.

My Top 5 albums are : Mariah Carey – Emancipation of MiMi, Celine Dion – Falling Into You, Lauren Hill – The Miseducation of Lauren Hill, Frank Sinatra – The Columbia Years, Kirk Franklin & The Family – Watcha Lookin 4…Picking a top 5 was hard, needed 10! This isn’t a real list without Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and the Beatles. I’m an old soul.
