The other night my brother and I were reminiscing over music from our younger days, eventually going on YouTube to watch the videos that were once regulars on TRL & 106 & Park.
Do you remember Dream’s He Loves You Not or Harlem World’s I Like It? OMG!!! — soooooo good. I loved the 2000’s!
We went at it for hours — going back and forth throwing out lyrics at each other as we began to sing and laugh at the the serious dance moves and fashions.
I was a big Ricky Martin fan if you can believe it or not — it was my first compact disc. TLC’s Fan Mail was my first cassette. (Gees Louise. Have I aged myself?)
It’s crazy how saying a snippet from a song got me livin’ la vida loca with nostalgia. So when Living Doll LA asked me to style a look from their new plus size range I totally gravitated toward this lyric graphic tee.

A simple great lyric — the chick singing it sounds a tad on the thirsty side but hey, it makes for a fun catchy song. It’s Love Fool by The Cardigans. I immediately associate this record with the movie Romeo & Juliet — The Leo Di version. What a great soundtrack! It was major.
