Living in a Florida beach town does have it’s perks over the bustling city of Boston. As much as I love the cold weather and city living I love the random sunny summer days of January. I know I couldn’t get away with wearing this warm weather get up in the beginning of January up north.
I created this look with items that I had already in my closet for a while. It’s my first time wearing this ASOS Curve top which I bought on sale well over a year ago and had postponed wearing it because it was a little too big. I tucked it in this vibrant citron midi skirt to give me a more fitted waistline.
I think it turned out great considering.
The sleeves kind of remind me of the boxy tops that Audrey Hepburn & Katherine Hepburn would wear. I love how ultra femme 50s fashion is. There’s nothing new about this silhouette but this vibrant burst of screaming color is a total knock out.
(And yes that was a reference to Tay Swift. So, are we out of the woods? Haha)
