On a day that you’re not really feeling it you have one of two options.
1. Stay in your PJs with your head scarf still wrapped, eating Captain Crunch Berries on the couch and watch Netflix Marathons all morning.
2. Which is going to take a little more effort but really in relation to everything else in life you have to do — the prep time to pretty is miniscule.
I call it The Red Lippie Effect. It’s my equivalent to what a coffee break or a workout can do for some people to get those endorphins flowing and get back to feeling yourself again. My method just consists of putting on a red lip, a touch of winged liner, a few swipes of mascara and a couple big large twirls of a curling iron. It leaves me feeling feminine, pretty and a bit sassy thanks to a red lippie.
