Uniquely You

As much as I love the different designs, fabrics, textures and silhouettes that make up the fashions of today I can never pass up a good vintage inspired dress. There’s something about the simple design of a cocktail dress made of lush material that exudes glamour, femininity and ladylike class.    

So I’m so excited to be working with Unique Vintage and their new campaign #IAMUNIQUE.  Unique Vintage is based in Burbank, California housing tons of fun and flirty retro and vintage inspired clothing, swimwear and shoes.

And this week they’ve launched their campaign #IAMUNIQUE in celebration of the diversity and beauty in the differences of their customers.

That means you darlings, my plump plus size pinups.

In their own words the #IAMUNIQUE campaign is to “celebrate how you express your own unique style, embrace your own unique body and embody your own uniqueness.”

To get involved in the celebration of all things that are uniquely you, share your photos, stories and points of view with the hashtag #IAMUNIQUE.  Unique Vintage will be having contests, giveaways and other unique events throughout the campaign so make sure you follow them here on Instagram.

Also an FYI in shopping UV — their sizing is very different than the typical plus size measurement guide so it’s imperative and necessary to measure yourself against the sizing of each item that you’re interested in.  They vary from designer to designer.  The dress that I’m wearing in this post is a size 4X with no stretch and runs small.  I could barely zip on the zipper but I’m determined to make it work just because the dress is so lovely.
