Summer is in full swing and that means humid days, afternoon storms and even more humid nights. So as I drown in the Florida humidity at least I can attempt to appear cool, calm, collected and cute in this floral print dress.
If you’ve followed my blog for any amount of time you probably quickly discovered that I’m a dress > pants kinda girl.
Let’s face it, in this heat it’s a miracle I’m wearing any clothing at all! But he mere thought of wearing pants sends me into el Niño so I opt for a modestly appropriate clothing alternative — a dress.
Keeping my style fun and interesting is important, but there is only so much you can do.
Finding bright prints, like this number below (it also comes in red), with it’s darling ruffle details is something to break up the monotony of the summer dress.
Don’t be alarmed by the sleeve length. The light cotton material keeps you cool and hits right above the elbow.
What are some of your style choices to beat the summer heat?
