Wear Sseko. Send a girl to college.
Meet Successor. She is my Sole Sister and has an amazing story.
She is one of 7 kids and is totally a pro in front of the camera. (Does she sound like anyone you know?!)
Successor is a Sseko Woman and has overcome many challenges to attend school but remains determined.
She wants to study ethics and human rights. She dreams of becoming more involved with helping tribal conflicts in the Sudan and Kenya as well as helping other women that are victims of domestic violence and unemployment.
She’s a real superstar and I want to help her make her dreams come true.
Every woman no matter where they live on this planet really all want the same things: a chance to learn, love and live in peace. By supporting Sseko (say-ko) Designs you are helping Successor and all of the university bound women of Sseko succeed in pursuing their dreams and in turn helping other women to do the same.
That’s a sisterhood that I can get behind.
I’ll be styling my favorite Sseko pieces this year as a part of the Sseko Sole Sister Program and sharing Successor’s story in hope of inspiring you and others to get involved in such an amazing effort in women supporting other women.
