If you’re going to wear the color red go big or go home. Wear it from head to toe and cause a stir.
The color red is known to be a color of passion, power and strength and it so happens to be one of my favorite colors to wear in a monochrome look.
There’s just something about an all red outfit that stands out from the crowd whether it’s a power suit or a dress.
My red lace midi from River Island is the perfect centerpiece to build this monochromatic look. The color obviously is there but having a midi silhouette draws your eye up so it gives the illusion of being taller.
Keeping up with the monochrome look add a red pump. This helps with the illusion of looking taller as well.
Experiment with textures to break up all the red. Try faux croc, patent leather or suede.
Adding a fun statement bag is a great way to break up all the red and an opportunity to introduce new fabric and patterns that help bring dimension to your monochrome look.
Try tweed, a weaved pattern, leather or something with tassels or a braided strap.
Don’t forget the red lip. It’s basically the pièce de résistance and completes your Lady in Red look.

Pretty dress you choose. So beautiful you look in this apparel.
River Island is the best place to shop, I totally agree with you. This little red lace dress is perfect for this Spring / Summer season, you’ve paired it up so well with the bright pink bag I’d do the same thing as well if I was you.
I love this, a very pretty and classy look.
