Staying chic and warm is easily done with this fashion 1-2 punch.
An oversized sweater with over the knee boots gives me celebrity style vibes without being too pretentious — after all I am ultimately pantless in public in the get up.
Plus women might steer away from anything oversized with the fear of looking bigger. I understand that but I’m not limited by it. I wear what I like based on how I feel.
If I feel like a rock star than it’s a winner. Simple as that.
I don’t get dressed with the idea of looking smaller. I get dressed with the purpose of slaying.

I love this look.. Where did you get the sweater?
Just wanted to say that I loved the point you made in this blog entry, “I don’t dress to look smaller, I dress to slay”…… Yaaaaaas!!! I’m not plus size by definition (I wear a 10-12) but I enjoy seeing how you style various pieces every week and wear them so confidently. This is gonna be my new style mantra every time I’m in the dressing room and thinking to myself, “I can’t wear this because it makes me look big, or shows the stretch marks on my arms, or (insert any other self-deprecating comment here). Thank you for being unapologetically you. Keep doing you boo!
