Orange Blossom

One of the most frustrating things for me is to wake up to get dressed for the day and look around my closet and chair-drobe (I’ve accumulated quite a wardrobe on my bedroom chaise) and saying I have nothing to wear.  Obviously this is not true and it’s only an idea that I have nothing to wear.  What is lacking is not any new clothing but creativity.  So instead of heading to the mall to buy something new I shop my closet and I’m always surprised with what I can come up with.  I’m able to satisfy my need for a new look without spending any money.   I paired a cream colored fishtail skirt from Ashley Stewart that I’ve had for years with a peplum top adding shades of orange for my POC (pop of color) via my lips, belt, shoes and bag.  I’m pretty happy with the final look.  It reminded me of the Orange Blossom ice cream bars I bought after school at the corner store.

  1. Great color combination! Yes, those ice cream bars. I knew this combination reminded me of something delightful.
