This dress is hands down one of my favorites because it incorporates all the things I love in a simple sheath dress: detail, color and fit. This dress hung in my closet for almost a year unworn because it was too big and I was nervous to have it taken in at risk of ruining the delicate crocheted lace material. But after going through a few Mr. Wrongs I’m happy to say that I am now able to wear this dress thanks to the new man in my life.
No it’s not like that — but he is pretty amazing. His name is Jacques and he’s my new tailor. Finding the perfect tailor has made the difference from having a dress looking decent to looking red carpet ready. Jacques (who is the sweetest man BTW) and I have been going steady for about 6 months now. He always takes care of me making sure that my skirts, pants and dresses fit perfectly over my waist, humps and hips. Plus the endearing way he calls me “darling” on the phone when my pieces are ready is nothing short of lovely. What more can a girl ask for?!
I encourage every woman regardless of size to find their tailored Mr. Right — experiencing the difference of having your clothes fit your body is forever changing and you’ll never wear an off the rack piece again with out seeing your own Jacques first.
