I honestly don’t know when millennial pink became a thing. I mean this particular shade of pink has been around forever.
It was called “Tickled Me Pink” in the highly coveted 96 count Crayola Crayon Box when I was a kid. You know the one with the sharpener in the back.
For as long as I can remember pink has always been my signature color (insert Julia Roberts as Shelby Eatenton from Steel Magnolias, circa 1989, and if you have no idea what I’m talking about please for goodness sake, GOOOGLE it!
I digress.
Even though this shade of pink is nothing neuveau, I can’t help but be happy that a younger generation is embracing and can appreciate the joyful and quintessential femme hue.
When I came across this millennial pink cardigan at River Island it was sold out. Shocker.
I bet all the new age millennials scooped this pink puffer cocoon cardigan so quick, old timers like me didn’t stand a chance to get our hands on it.
But I was patient and I was blessed with not only this cozy, comfy, millennial pink goodness I got a graphic tee to match. A matched made in millennial pink heaven.
I kept this look super cas’ and instead of rocking a predictable heel I opted for a sportier look with some sneaks. I thought it was very millennial of me.
