Ashley Stewart asked me to style a couple of looks from their “White Hot” Collection. My first look is centered around this fierce faux leather peplum top. It’s light enough to wear in the Florida heat and packs major style punch. I’m definitely going to be re-wearing this piece this summer. I think adding bits of leather unexpectedly creates drama and edginess plus the peplum silhouette keeps is super chic and ladylike at the same time. Did the top make you sweaty? I have been looking at it, but I’m just afraid that it will make me sweaty.
No it didn’t. The leather is only on one side of the shirt. The other side is stretchy cotton/poly blend.
