Bonjour beautés!
When it comes to fashion icons many fashionistas will undoubtedly place Carrie Bradshaw among the listed. I am no different — she’s absolutely amazing. This look was inspired by her character’s journey to the city of lights & love — Paris, France.

Mixing prints is not a fashion faux pas — when it’s done right of course. |
Enjoying the Parisian cafe setting at Bistro Aix. So French! |
American Girl in Paris — Carrie Bradshaw |
When I traveled to Paris last summer I was intrigued by the complicated simplicity of the Parisian woman. They are mysterious, confident and understated; yet some how they are able to exude subdued sex appeal. Us American girls can take a few pointers from them & I’ve recently come across this book that might help — Entre Nous: A Woman’s Guide to Finding Her Inner French Girl, by Debra Olliver. (How fun, right!)
I met up with my friends Brianna & Jessica (she’s behind the lens) for cocktails at a lovely place in Jacksonville’s San Marco area called Bistro Aix — named after the French town Aix-en-Provence. It was my first time there but I plan on making it one of my “go-to” places to dine.
Oh, before I forget. I love French music and I want to share this great cover of Zou Bisou Bisou, by Jessica Pare. It has that je ne sais quoi, no?
Love it girl. Keep teaching us nonfashionable folk how to get it done right!
Thanks Kierstan! I would love to help create a look for you. Let’s get in touch and see what we can do! Email me musingsofacurvylady@gmail.com!

Oh me too! I get so nostalgic looking at pictures from my trip. I can totally see myself living there sipping champagne at a cafe overlooking Notre Dame and the Seine River. Thanks for reading!!! xx
