Things at work have been chaotic and emotionally draining and as a result I have been doing some major retail therapy. Although I’m super excited about my new items I am sometimes left with the guilt that remains when making unnecessary purchases. One way to refocus my spending habits while remaining true to my need for fashion speed I make a spring time budget and stick to it. I take a look at my closet and determine what trends and looks I want to add and see if I can find them in thrift shops and discount stores like Ross. That’s where I found this dress for only $12.99! Can’t beat that. It incorporates the color blocking trend in a curvy friendly silhouette. The one thing about shopping at discount stores and thrift shops is that it can be a hit or miss with fashion finds. Patience and creativity are necessary when tackling the endless rows of messy unorganized racks. You never know what you might find so take a deep breath and look through each item thoroughly. It’s also a good idea to wear comfy clothing when thrift and discount shopping; ideally something easy to slip out of if you want to try anything on and prepare to spend a little more time there. One peruse through will most likely not render and goodies.
