There are certain changes or decisions one makes that can alter the future…
I’m sorry that sounded extremely cheesy and like the beginnings of a sci-fi novel but I’m not talking about being bitten by a radioactive spider or having the capability to use 100% of my brain … I’m talking about hair and when you decide to make a tweak how everything can change.
In particular — the brunette Norma Jean Mortensen, who we know as the iconic blondie Marilyn Monroe. I wonder when she decided to change her locks in 1946 that she knew the impact she would have on beauty, fashion, men and the world. I guess we’ll never know but it’s clear that changing your hair can become a true metamorphosis. As you can see below I have made some changes to my look. No, it’s not life altering and it won’t influence the world as we know it but the change is welcomed. In a way I was hiding behind the bangs and just creating a middle part instead of my routine curtain of hair swooping to the side of my face has left me unrecognizable to friends, family and my coworkers. It’s still getting some use to but I had a strong desire to change it up. I’m trying to experiment more with my look that I like to believe is always evolving. In the words of the late M&M “Being normal is boring.”
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
