In celebration of opening their first store in Northeast Florida, Nordstrom Jacksonville hosted a Gala to benefit three local non-profit charities — The Cathedral Arts Project, Junior League of Jacksonville and Wolfson’s Children Hospital. The Nordstrom Gala did not disappoint — the sold out event was a highlight of the year and helped raise over $105,000! It was a honor to attend this event and to experience how Nordstrom throws a fête! Let the gallivanting begin …
The cutest drinks were never in short supply. These mini Patrón Margaritas were perfect for beginning the night’s festivities with my partner in crime Lina!
Live fashion presentations were in constant rotation. The models showcased the latest from Ted Baker, Kate Spade New York, Diane von Furstenberg to name just a few. These ladies were giving serious face …you know I had to join them!
They started to play 80’s Madonna & MJ so I just had to bust it for them one time.
Mini lobster rolls for this Boston girl was a must!
These Kate Spade Pumps literally winked at me. We’re basically going steady now.
They went so perfectly with my outfit. It was totally meant to be.
Shopping in Style — I’ll drink to that.
My friend Khierstan will help you style the perfect look. She works in the Nordstrom’s Junior department SAAVY.
Loved Khierstan’s outfit which you can now shop the entire look at Nordstrom’s!
She killed it with the texture play in that vest! The Gala was filled with fun fashion — both on the racks and on the employees & guests!
Unknowingly Coordinated: My photographer & friend Lina and Fashion Blogger Christina Brathune of The Quarter Life Closet.
Her hair is so dope so obviously I wanted to be friends.
Success!
After being thoroughly distracted by all the glitz and glam I finally met up with Erin, writer behind Erin Wiggle.
Love meeting new local bloggers! How cute is Meaghan of Just Meaghan — I started brainstorming immediately about a project for us to collaborate on. #FashionBloggersUNITE
Shoe Party!
Perfection. Need I say more. Tiara also works in the Nordstrom’s Junior dept. SAAVY.

I can’t stop saying how amazing this event was and I’m so excited that Jacksonville finally has a Nordstrom. But I honestly would be ten times more excited if their were more options for plus sizes in store. In order to get plus sizes at the new location Nordstrom has to see that their is a consumer need. So please send your requests to bring the fabulous online plus size department to our new store by tweeting to @NordstromJax!
Beautiful coverage of the NordstromJax Gala. You looked amazing in that top 🙂

This was such a fun event! So glad we met last week. Can’t wait to work together. See you soon! 🙂
The gala looks like a lot of fun, and I LOVE your outfit! That ruffled top is amazing! I love Tiara’s tutu too.
