Floral Pantaloons

Earrings & Necklaces :: Charming Charlie
Bracelet :: Dorothy Perkins
Watch :: NYCo. (old)
Handbag :: ShoeDazzle (no longer available)
I’ve been wanting to try the floral jean trend for a while now.  If you are a curvy girl like me, looking for jeans with the perfect fit is hard enough without throwing prints and patterns into the mix.  I unexpectedly came across these fantastic floral skinnies at JCP.  I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on and they fit perfectly over my hump (my derrière)!  Although I do like the cuff jean look, eventually I think I will raise up the hem to create an ankle length.  (I get a lot of things altered.  You will see how a little tailoring can go a long way.)  I paired it with a loose fit chiffon blouse from F21+ and nude sandals from ShoeDazzle (both no longer available).
Some curvy ladies might be hesitant to try such a bold pattern on the lower half of their frame, especially when the fashion world encourages us to stick to wearing black A-line silhouettes.  So with that  I encourage you to be big, bold & beautiful.  Every body is beautiful, so go ahead and experiment with color, prints, textures, patterns and the like.  Oh, and don’t forget to rock whatever you wear with the must have accessory — CONFIDENCE!  It will always be in style and it will always look good on you.

  1. Thanks Treasure <3 I hate when that happens; it can be so frustrating! To prevent myself from having missed shopping regrets I always put things on hold if I’m not 100% sure. That way you get to hold on to your goodies for 24 hours so no one else can grab them up! If you are still thinking about the purchase throughout the day, most likely it’s because your wardrobe desperately needs it (That’s how I rationalize the situation anyway!) If you forget about it — no worries and your wallet stays happy too.

  2. So excited you have your blog up and running! I found some printed skinny crops at Target and they were super cutw, but I didn’t get them. Kicking myself because they don’t have them anymore. These look great on you, love the look! <3 Treasure

  3. Great print thamarr!!! And you look fab! I was talking about a similiar message on my blog ! Wear everything with confidence !! My problem is being short. There are lots of things I am not “suppose” to wear ! Heck I’ll wear it and show you! Keep up the good work girl, I’ll be following. -Anh
