Fashion Week

Hello Beauties!

I hope you are all staying safe, warm and dry as Hurricane Sandy makes her way up the East Coast. Seeing the images on TV is so overwhelming.  I have many friends and family back up north and you all are in my thoughts & prayers.  Love you guys! xoxox

Since it’s been a crazy week for practically everyone I don’t have an outfit post but don’t fret my pretties I’ve gotten some amazing items added to my wardrobe and I can’t wait to create looks and share with you.  But I’m not going to leave you guys hanging –I do have some news to share my dears & it’s pretty exciting!

I have been asked to cover LS 1426 Fashion Week as a special blogger in Miami, Florida November 8-11th!  I was approached last week and I am super stoked about it!  The event will be a four day spectacular for the fashion industry and the community.  Not only will amazing designers share their new collections (that feature models sizes 6-26!) but it’s also a great cause helping to raise money for two local charities, The Sickle Cell Disease Association & Continuous Love.

The weekend starts off on Thursday evening with the Meet & Greet — get a chance to mix and mingle with designers, media, models (and me!) while enjoying the sights and sounds of a showcase of up and coming designers.  The next day will be a Model Image Seminar — so all my curvy ladies looking to get into the modeling industry this is the place to be! Saturday will be the “Meet the Buyer’s” Trunk Show and finally, the main event will be held on Sunday evening.  The “Integrating the Runway” Fashion Show will be hosted by America’s Next Top Model’s 1st Plus Size Winner and Jacksonville, Florida Native Whitney Thompson.  The show will feature U.S. and international designers.

This will be an amazing event for any fashion lover!  Come by if you are in the area!  I’d love to see some of you there.  We will have a  fabulous time so make sure you come! Tickets for each event range from $10-65 and can be purchased here.  Remember it’s for a good (looking) cause!
