Fall Florals

Fall is here and that means lots of oxblood hues, vampy lips, cozy knits and pumpkin spice lattes.  Fall is my favorite time of year because not only does it kick off fashion month but every fashionista welcomes the cooler weather and the opportunities it brings to break out boots, hats and scarves.  But as much as I love sweater weather I can’t seem to let go of my florals.  Florals to me are season-less — you can always pull off a pretty print with ease and still look current without looking out of place.  The rules of fashion are not written in stone and they were meant to be bent so there’s no need to pack up your florals till spring.  Incorporate them in small ways for a casual look with denim or via floral printed pumps or dare to wear them from head to toe!

Opt for floral prints with a dark background instead of a pastel — it’s a perfect base for bright colors and it anchors your entire look!
