It’s no secret that I’m a lover of dresses and skirts. Pants and me have always had this love/hate relationship where hate would tend to win.
When I do opt for pants I’m attracted to wide leg flowy silhouettes that move with me. I guess I’m attracted to the most “skirt-like” pants out there.
These wide leg trousers from River Island are high-waisted and I love the fit. It accentuates my waist as if I were wearing a high-waisted maxi skirt.
This is such a NYC look to me.
I tend to wear lots of black when I go because everyone seems to have this too-cool-girl-chic look down. I kept the look simple and just paired it with an embellished tee and a leather moto jacket.
Speaking of NYC, I’m headed there in just little over a month.
You would think that’s plenty of time but I have lots to do before than including planning out my outfits.
I always aim to do this well ahead of time but end up packing hours before my flight. Let’s hope this time is different!

SHOP THE LOOK
good
Those pants look like something you would wear to a dojo, very cool. The pearls on the shirt and shoes give it polish, and the beautiful lipstick color just pops. Also, the roughness of the moto jacket continues the Asian feel and roughs up the starkness just enough. Sweet look!
OMG I love this look?
Nice outfit. 🙂
