Don’t you just love the transformational powers of accessories! Well I do. I love that something considered drab or simple can be styled into something super glam or casual. The style looks are endless when you open yourself up to wearing different accessories. I usually tend to go for a simple additions that make a big difference. I was inspired by a friend and fellow blogger Kherington of Style Maven to turn a leopard scarf into a turban (click here to see). Something that we all have in our closets with a few twists, turns and a couple of knots creates a totally chic head piece that can up the ante of your outfit. I chose to keep the rest of my jewelry simple — no necklace, only earrings and cuffed bracelets and finished off with a pair of awesome sandals purchased on sale (say Word) and pops of color thanks to my clutch and bright lip.

This dress is amazing too. It’s versatile and it’s one of my go-to pieces because it’s so flowy you can wear as is or synched with a belt ( I also bought it in red!) Sometimes us curvy girls may think that we have to stick to a body con silhouette to come off chic, cool and sexy but the truth of the matter is that you can be just as sultry in a airy dress. And thanks to some clever accessorizing I was able to once again remix one of my favorite pieces and create an entirely different look!
