Charlotte Russe +

Charlotte Russe Plus?  Yes, please.

I remember shopping the accessories rack of Charlotte Russe back when I was in college because jewelry and purses were the only things I could buy from them.  Those days are over now that they have launched their new plus size line.

I’ve been seeing a bunch a bloggers sporting their new duds but wasn’t sure if their junior plus sizes would necessarily work with me.  So when Charlotte Russe reached out to me to try them I out I was more than happy to give them a go and give you all a review.

Of course I gravitated to their dresses.  Lots of very cute fit and flares which I’m a big fan of.  I run on the larger end of their size range (3X or 22) and anything in those sizes tends to sell out fast so my biggest tip I can give would to snatch up what you like in your size quickly when shopping with them online.  Plus sizes are available at selected stores and you can find the nearest one to you on their website.

I’m in a 3X in this fitted and flared and it’s very comfortable hitting right above my knee (I am 5’4 with no heels).  I’m also wearing  easy to wear fuchsia kitten heels also from CR.  They have a great shoe collection which was pretty impressive.  Sizes run up to a normal width size 10.

I’ll be styling a couple more looks from Charlotte Russe + in the next few weeks so stay tuned lovelies!

  1. Hi Thamarr! I just want to tell you how much of an inspiration you are for me. I’m not plus size by any means, but I grew up with little to no self-confidence. I spent hours at night on tumblr and fashion blogs dreaming to one day be like the women who were skinny, tan, and gorgeous. These women weren’t real; they were plastic Barbies with no confidence in themselves. They starved themselves to be pretty and spent way too much time trying to impress people. People like you and other fashion bloggers who express confidence (and even curviness) are the true Barbies to me. Thank you for always being yourself. I enjoy reading your blog and look forward to seeing your adorable outfit combinations each time. I continue to work on my confidence and seeing you, happy in your skin, make it possible to get one step closer to my goal.

    Thanks again!
    Natalie

  2. You are a beautiful lady and I love your sense of style. Please show more shots of your outfits from behind. I’ve noticed that many plus size bloggers don’t do this and I think it’s important to show that plus size women can find clothing that is flattering from all angles. Thank you for doing what you do!
