New York — The city that never sleeps and the city that I always get lost in. Metaphorically and literally.
As much as I love this city I can never seem to get a handle on it. No matter how many times I go I always feel like I’m upside down and get lost on the subway and spend a ridiculous amount of money on ubers and taxis trying to get home.
My latest visit was different because I spent it with a Brooklynite and what a difference?! Sandee of the blog CurvEnvy was lovely enough to host me for a weekend and show me around her beloved city.
We went to the MET, had amazing dinner at Jolie Cantina – a French Mexican fusion of flavor. We caught a show on Broadway, did Times Square and scored a selfie or two with a few celebs. It was a fun-filled trip and packed with great fashion.
From the amazing summer street style to the jaw dropping Manus x Machine Exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum — New York is fashion.
While in Brooklyn I met up with an amazing photography, Junior of Blissful Kaos. I found him on Instagram and his work is just so beautiful– like woah, amazing. Him and his wife blogger Ralizabeth of Oh, She’s Lovely were just that — lovely with a side of too cute. We spent the early morning hours getting the perfect shot of the Manhattan Bridge in the background.
After shooting Junior even helped me out with some pointers helping me out with my new camera.
I was just so amp that we made it work to shoot together but I was blown away by how genuinely sweet and kind they both were!
Instagram totally came through!
If anyone in the New York/Jersey area is in need of a bomb dig photog do not look any further, Blissful Kaos is the perfect photographer to capture your vision.
Hello,ciao…what a fabolous style of yours…cheers!
