I think Solange is probably one the most fashionable people on the planet.

Was that way too bold of me to say?

Well, tough. It’s the truth. She is bold, colorful, daring, fun, eclectic, feminine.

I digress.

One of the items that I would have loved to have gotten from the collection was a fierce ivory double breasted blazer with big gold buttons.

Now in reality I know most of the United States may be having what is called Autumn or Winter-like weather but here in Florida it’s still very much Summer.

Case in point, this adorable sleeveless polka dot number I’m wearing in the middle of December. I know it’s unlikely for many of you to pull off this look but if you’re having a palm tree winter like me El Nino is totally making resort wear in December a thing.

I kept the focus on the glam with all my sequins, baubles and things by wearing a neutral cream turtleneck sweater also from Lane Bryant.

Speaking of perfect; isn’t this golden bodycon just a dream? I love the detailed neckline and the rich golden tone that’s perfect for Fall. I’m wearing a size 20 and it has lots of stretch.

It’s important for me to share and support the efforts and designs of up and coming creatives especially when they support the plus size fashion industry. Kaela Kay is just one of the many designers producing high quality garments for you and I, the plus sized fashionista.

In order to be considered truly equal to mainstream fashion designs and productions, money has to be spent.

That’s the cold hard truth.

Nah. I didn’t think so.

A pretty pink and black color palette is all you need for a sweet femme look perfect for Fall.

This look came together pretty organically, which for me means over time and random.

I forget what I have in my closet sometimes (as many fashion girls do) and didn’t realize I had all the pretty pieces to a perfectly pink outfit in my possession till I shopped my closet over the weekend.

But just as cool and important as James Bond is too the entire Bond series the Bond Girl is just as vital.

She’s always dressed to kill and fiercely beautiful with the wits to keep up with the ever so clever Bond.
