I can’t live without a classic red lip and if you haven’t tried The Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Lipstick in Always Red; YOU ARE MISSING OUT! It’s the perfect red lip and happens to be one of Taylor Swifts faves to wear and she’s basically the Queen of Red. The formula is perfect from sips to kiss. I have a few rouge hues from this range in my red hippie line up.

JUNE 2021 SEPHORA FAVORITES

I have been trying out a lot and I mean A LOT of new makeup and skincare products from Sephora.

One thing I love about Sephora is their return policy; a lot of the time when I buy makeup it’s really for me to try test it out in the comfort of my own home. So when something doesn’t work out, it’s no sweat, I can just return it and swap it out for a long time newish fave. These are new or new to me products that made the cut and I am happy to report will be repurchase.

I’m a skincare product junkie and the brand I’m always impressed by is Glow Recipe; all of their products are incredibly gentle but really effective.

I wish I started using their Watermelon Toner sooner. It was the first product from them that I was introduced to. It was gifted to be in a PR box I was sent and forgot about it on a shelf for months before I finally tried it.

Man, I was blown away by the glow I woke up to in the morning.

The glow is real.

So, today Instagram’s new AFFILIATE technology launched and I’m so fortunate to be one of the first people to test it out!

It’s really exciting! Affiliate is the new Instagram in shopping functionality tool where you can purchase products right in the app. This means no need to download another app or leave Instagram to buy something you just discovered; you can shop and purchase within a post or story.

Sephora is one of the first brands to be a part of the Affiliate program with more brands to join in the future.

My Favorite Clean Makeup Products

When I first heard about clean beauty I honestly thought of barely there makeup that wouldn’t last. I thought it was for white models that had great skin and certainly not mine. I want to hide my imperfections. I definitely didn’t see myself in the clean beauty world.

But like many things, over time we saw the clean beauty industry reinvent itself. With more brands offering a diverse array of products in more colors I have slowly become obsessed with transitioning over to all clean beauty. Can you believe it?!

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez: First Impressions

I never claim to be a professional makeup artist but I must say that I’m an avid an professional makeup lover.

My newest love is the latest celebrity beauty brand, Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, exclusively sold at Sephora.

I was geeked out when I received the official PR package from Rare Beauty and I had to create a full look with all of these beautiful products.

EYES

Rare Beauty is more than just a celebrity beauty brand and I truly believe it. I love the mission behind this company welcoming and celebrating individuality, uniqueness and diversity.

LIPS

Selena is using her platform, power and influence to not only give us an amazing makeup brand but she’s addressing the stigmas of mental health. She’s created the RARE Impact Fund, who’s goal is to raise 100 million over the next ten years to help address the gaps in mental health services for underserved communities.

Not only are the products amazing and work so well together – my favorites are definitely the Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation, Brightening Concealer and Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream – but I can totally get behind the work and change they want to bring to the world of beauty.

When I’m feeling like my pores are congested and breakout city this serum helps get me back to normal quick. I love that it’s lightweight and clear so I can treat my skin on days that I want to go makeup free or put a few drops in my foundation for continuous treatment on shoot days.

Peter Thomas Roth Retinoid Peptide Serum

I haven’t tried this yet but I’ve heard so many amazing things. This pro strength retinoid claims results in 2 weeks which is super fast. I’m so interested in seeing if this addition to my skincare routine will help me with fight off fine lines and hyperpigmentation.

Glow Recipe Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask

I typically have oily skin all over but this year I’ve been more combination being super dry around my mouth and chin. This sleeping mask with it’s clean ingredient list is packed with AHAs (acids that help with exfoliation and hydration), hyaluronic acids and watermelon I hoping this will soothe, hydrate and reveal brighter skin come morning.

Summer Fridays “CC” Me Vitamin C Serum

Summer Fridays is the genius baby founded by blogger bestie in my head Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores. They’ve created some of the most instagrammable skincare line and I’m such a sucker for excellent marketing.

Not only is it beautiful, the clean ingredient lists and effective results make Summer Fridays one of the fastest growing new brands at Sephora. I’m excited to try the newest product to the line CC Me Vitamin C Serum — a natural brighter that will help with texture, hyperpigmentation and hydration!

Ouai Body Cleanser

Ouai is coming for my dollars! The hair care line created by Kim K’s longtime friend and hairstylist Jenat Kin, is now stepping into skincare. They Ouai Body Cleanser and Body Cream – also on my list, are inspired by the yummy scents from her haircare products. Can’t wait to try!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

This is the ultimate lip mask! I absolutely love it and I have jars all over the house and in different purses. The original Berry color is so juicy and lip loving but the new Vanilla gives you a shine like the most natural lip gloss.

It’s multifunctional too!

I love to put a little on in the morning on the highest points of my cheek so it gives me a natural glow highlight when I’m going makeup free.

Artist Couture Diamond Lights Finisher in Diamond Bronze

I don’t wear a lot of eye makeup but when I do it’s going to be extra like these glittery pots from Mac_Daddyy!

Artist Couture Diamond Lip Tease Gloss in Climax

My friend Brandon gifted me this gloss and I’m almost done with it! It’s so delicious and makes want to pout my lips a little more than usual. I get so many compliments when I wear this gloss. It’s a must.

SEPHORA Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel

My favorite pinky nude lip gloss from MAC was discontinued years ago. I’ve been on the search for a replacement and this one from the SEPHORA Collection is it and under $15!

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder

Umm. Need a I say more. This is the GOAT of translucent powder as far as I’m concerned. I wear the color medium deep.

Cover FX Monochromatic Matte + Shimmer Blush Duo

This blush/highlighter duo is almost always out of stock and for good reason. Get it!
