Gworlllllllll!! 3 Days in Miami isn’t for the faint of heart. Let’s talk about everything we wore, ate and of course the LTK x Maybelline event!
Day One
Sunday kicked off bright and early, from the airport to our hotel where we unpacked and dove headfirst into our mini vacay. I met up with my work wife, Holland, for some much-needed drinks and poolside relaxation and where we planned out details of our three days in Miami.
Then came dinner—a jaw-dropping experience at Queen in Miami left us utterly breathless. The vibes, the decor, the music—it was like stepping into the pages of The Great Gatsby! And let’s not even get started on the food and service—top-notch. And can you believe they even had a saxophone player serenading us? Talk about the cherry on top of an already amazing evening!
Day Two
Monday kicked off with the highly anticipated LTK event and we wasted no time diving into content creation mode. Alongside Holland, we captured shots for Hutch and Show Me Your MuMu, showcasing diverse sizes to highlight clothing across different body types. A #SlayOverSize

After a quick poolside lunch to recharge, it was time for the LTK x Maybelline Cocktail Party! If you’ve ever been to an LTK event you already know they throw the best parties. The Edition Miami Beach was the perfect place for all of the dreamy decor that set the stage for the launch of Maybelline’s Lifter Plump Gloss. It’s spicy! 🌶
Makeup artists were on hand, color-matching us with the new Super Stay Vitamin C Skin Tint—a game-changer in my makeup routine, thanks to its seamless blend and lightweight formula. I wear shade 368! And let’s talk about the whole bar dedicated to their new Chili Plump Gloss—they had all different colors to choose from!
Getting to chat with the mogul that is Amber Venz Box is always amazing. She’s literally perfection and such a boss. Mingling with my mutuals, influencers and reconnecting with old friends made the experience even more memorable. Sarah Shaker, the VP of Brand Management for Maybelline, was an absolute sweetheart—I love being in rooms with so many inspirational women, creatives and powerhouses. I’m still on a high from it all.

As we bid adieu, they handed us some seriously hefty goodie bags before we headed off to Mila for dinner. This is my favorite spot in Miami and always try to come when I’m in town. Our new friend Taylor, over at @wellnessforlifeblog joined us for dinner too. What an absolute sweetheart!
Mila’s concept of small plates meant we got to share a variety of dishes, and girl, you know we had to indulge! One of my favorite things in life is to be at table with lots of amazing food with even better company. Oh and our waitress exuded bubbly energy and delivered top-notch service—shout out to Noemi; it was the perfect end to an already unforgettable day.
Day Three
Tuesday unfolded as another whirlwind day of content creation. The LTK production team made their way to our hotel to shoot a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the life of a creator. From interviews to showcasing our content creation process and how we curate pieces for sharing on LTK, the day was a deep dive into all the things as a creator. The LTK crew’s were not only total pros but so much fun. We laughed so much and it hardly felt like work. Also I feel like I’m ready for my own reality show; their equipment made it feel like we were shooting a Hollywood production. Someone even asked if I was a “Movie Star,” and of course, I said yes. 💁🏾♀️
After wrapping up filming, we packed our bags and said adios to Miami, but not before indulging in some authentic Cuban cuisine. Back home in JAX, it was time to unwind and recharge before gearing up for our next adventure.
