Good shapewear can be hard to find, and it can make or break your entire outfit. I have a few tried and true pieces that hold you in while still being comfortable, and that smooth you out so well. Spanx is one of my go-to shops when it comes to shapewear. They have so many versatile pieces, and you can’t beat the quality! Everything I’ve ever purchased from Spanx I’ve loved, and I love their size inclusivity. If I had to pick a few absolute favorites from Spanx, I would choose the following.
While those are my go-to’s, you really can’t go wrong with any of their pieces!
While Spanx does have amazing shapewear, I have a few other favorite places I also like to shop! Amazon has amazing shapewear at great prices. I’m wearing Amazon shapewear in the photos below, and it’s so flattering! I felt so confident in my bodycon dress, and my shaper bodysuit definitely helped. SKIMS also has a great variety of shapewear, and I love wearing my Solution Short Right Leg Exposed shorts when I have a slit inn my skirt or dress. They are such a unique fit, but so helpful and convenient when rocking a slit! Both Amazon and SKIMS are great options.

As you may know, I attended New York Fashion Week, and had the most amazing time! The fashion was fabulous, the vibes were immaculate, and I’m already dying to go back. This first dress is seriously stunning! From the pattern to the print, I love everything about it. It would be perfect for a fall wedding or gala. I also loved how it paired with a sweatshirt; made the look a little more casual but still so fun!
NYFW look #2 was more casual than the first, but I love the gorgeous neutrals! This look is super versatile, and each piece can be mixed and matched with different pieces to create several new looks. You will see me rocking these pieces lots this fall.
NYFW look #3 was the epitome of pretty in pink! Everything about this dress is flirty, and fun, and I love the ruffle detailing. This dress can be paired with heels, boots, sneakers, or sandals for so many different occasions!
My 4th New York Fashion Week look is timeless and elegant; it truly is the perfect LBD. The fit is so flattering, and I love how it paired with simple jewelry and a red lip!
I was feeling myself in this fifth look! Orange is one of my favorite bold colors to wear, and this dress is everything. The crossover top detailing is so fun, and I love the frilly hem. I’m already looking for another event to wear this dress!
Look #6 may just be my favorite NYFW look from the whole week! It’s another orange number, and boy does it make a statement. I love a monochromatic outfit, and this one is next level!

I am always on the hunt for the perfect little black dress, and I’ve finally found it! A LBD can be be worn for date night, to an event, or for a night out. Today I’m sharing where I found the perfect little black dress from, and how to style it!
Whenever I’m on the hunt for a new dress, one of the first places I check is Anthropologie! Anthropologie has a great plus size selection, and while their pieces are a little on the pricey side, they’re always amazing quality and built to last. When I saw my black dress online, I added it to my cart immediately!
A little black dress is a statement all on its own. While you can add pops of color, I love to keep the classic elegance of a LBD by adding simple jewelry that enhances the dress! For this look, I added a cuff bracelet, and a choker necklace. Lastly, I finished the look with a red lip for my pop of color.

Walmart has been absolutely crushing it in the fashion department, and I am loving all of their new arrivals for fall! They have so many fun, versatile piece that can be worn now, while it’s still warm, and into the colder months ahead. Today I’m sharing my favorite Walmart fall new arrivals, and how I styled them. For reference, I’m wearing a 22 in everything!
I love a good midi dress that can be dressed up or down, and this one will definitely be a fall staple. The color is stunning, and I love the details. I paired it with booties, but it would also look cute with white sneakers, sandals, or heels!
Denim is trending for fall and this light wash denim dress is one of my favorite Walmart fall new arrivals. It can be worn for so many different occasions, and I love how flattering the fit is!
This outfit is so fun and trendy for fall! Blazers are so stylish right now and I love the neutral tones, and how well it paired with my tan dress. This outfit could be worn to the office, for date night, or to a fall festival, and both pieces could be worn separately, as well.
This next outfit is another fall new arrival that I’m loving! It’s so classy and chic, I’m obsessed. I love the way my knotted button down paired with my trousers. I added some fun shoes to elevate the look even further. The pieces look great together, but can also be worn with other pieces, so many different ways!
Clearly I am loving this color for fall! This dress is so cute, and can be worn dressed up with heels, or dressed down with sneakers or mules. It’s the perfect dress to keep in your closet for a last minute event!
I loved the light wash denim dress so much, I had to snag the dark wash version, too! Just like the other dress, this one is so flattering and can be worn with all types of shoes for different occasions. Which wash do you prefer?

If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you’ve probably heard about my home refresh. What started as a single room refresh, quickly turned into the whole entire home! My next project is my bathroom refresh and I’m so excited to achieve a softer feel. I’m thinking light, bright, and fresh. Today I’m sharing everything I plan to decorate with, and links to shop.
The first few items I’m grabbing for my bathroom refresh are the bathmat, shower curtain, shelf, and a wall cabinet. I want to add those items first, in order to coordinate the rest of the room around them. Anthropologie is always my first stop when shopping for home decor, and where I found most of the essentials! The wall cabinet is stunning, and the perfect storage space. Both the bath mat, and shower curtain pair so well, and I love how all three pieces look together! I found a shelf on Amazon, and it looks great paired with the Anthropologie essentials.
After adding the essentials, I started shopping around for some fun accent pieces to enhance the space. I found a gorgeous scalloped dish and ruffle bowl to add to the counter space, and some gorgeous wall art from Home Goods, that will add some texture to the wall. Each piece will help bring my bathroom refresh dreams to life, and I’ can’t wait to see how it turns out!

You all know how important skincare is to me, but so is taking care of my teeth! One of my most frequently asked questions is “Thamarr, what is your teeth whitening routine?!”. I have a few tips and tricks that keep my pearly whites shiny and bright, and I’m sharing them all today!
Having a great toothbrush and toothpaste is key to good dental hygiene. I have tried several brands of both, but have found what I love and what works best! My toothbrush is the Oral-B iO Series 5 Electric Toothbrush, and cleans so well. As for my toothpaste, I love Sensodyne Repair and Protect Whitening Toothpaste. I also always make sure to floss with Glide Oral-B Dental Floss. Lastly, for fresh breath, I always use my tongue scrapper. Each of these products work great on their own, but together, they’re infallible!
To ensure my teeth are extra bright and white, I use a few additional products to achieve maximum brightness. Crest 3D White Strips have never let me down, and are so helpful to maintaining a white smile! I also love using an LED Whitening Accelerator Light or my at home MySmile Teeth Whitening Kit when laying in bed at night. For a quick touch up before an event, Hismile Color Corrector is my go-to.
