I recently sailed the Caribbean for a week with Princess Cruises aboard their Caribbean Princess to Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize City and Cozumel!

Nestled in the northeast corner of the Sunshine State lies Jacksonville — the largest city landmass wise in the USA.  This city is where I’ve called home for the last 10 years and it’s amazing food scene and bubbling community for creatives has such a special place in my heart.

It’s finally here!  My new website!  So much blood, sweat and tears have gone into rebranding my website.  I didn’t think the day would come but it’s here and I can’t wait for you to experience it with me.

For the last 2 years I’ve been wanting to create a completely new and different experience when you come to Musings of a Curvy Lady for many reasons.  For one, I wasn’t motivated to create when I would come to my own site.

It’s no surprise that I have an intense love for Parisian panache.  There’s something that’s just so effortlessly beautiful about the city of Paris, the fashion and it’s people.  Minus all the cigarettes. 

I first traveled to the city of love and light six years ago.  I went by myself and took a group tour.  Although it was a great experience and I met people that would later be good friends, it definitely felt rushed.

So if you follow me on SnapChat and Instagram you might have noticed a few weeks back I took a quick trip to South Beach, Miami!  

I was there to celebrate Lane Bryant’s new #ThisBody Campaign as well as the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers featuring Ashley Graham.

I had a great time and got a lot in just 36 hours in SOBE.

I attended the Sports Illustrated Swim Fest where I got to hang out with the Lane Bryant team and the models at the LB Lifestyle Bungalow.

I packed in a lot in just 36 hours in Miami including a swimsuit photoshoot!  Since I was in town covering the Sports Illustrated Swim Fest with Lane Bryant I only thought it was right to have my very own Sports Illustrated inspired shoot.  I channeled the fierceness of SI Cover Girl Ashley Graham and made sure I worked that camera!

If you haven’t heard last week Sports Illustrated released the cover of their coveted Swimsuit issue.
