What was cottagecore before cottagecore?  I think about this a lot.  Not just the term “cottagecore” but of the other words we have now to describe something that has been around forever.  The evolution of words and the new names of styles or trends is so interesting to me.  E-Girl, Goth, emo, Preppy, Grunge, Feminine, Punk, Polished, Prairie, Urban… the list goes on and on…

This dress is giving me two different vibes. The tiered ruffles are giving me sweet girl next door.

But the black and this strut is giving me, somebody’s son’s heart is about to get hurt.

I will always be a fan of timeless romantic fashion and there is something about a ruffled tiered hem that is just so lovely.
