The kitty is out of the bag.  There’s no surprise here that I’m totally a fan of kitty ear headbands … especially pink floral ones. 

In a few months I will be in LA with my friend Lauren of the blog The Curvy Perfectionist.  While we’re there we will be going to see Ariana Grande in concert!

Ariana is notorious for sporting cute kitty ears on stage so I thought these would be perfect to rock during the show.

Lane Bryant reached out to me to highlight the style of bloggers that are nurses as well.  I knew a perfect off duty ensemble from the Lela Rose Collection for Lane Bryant would be perfect. 

I spend my work days wearing dreary blue nursing scrubs and sneakers.  So when I’m off work I feel the extra need to dress up because let’s face it I basically wear pajamas to work.

There is just something so sweet about a girl dressed up in pink.

Don’t you agree?

Even if you don’t like the color we have been ingrained literally since birth to associate the soft rose hue with femininity and I honestly don’t see anything wrong with that.

Granted it’s 2015 and gender roles and colors don’t mean anything anymore but at the end of the day is it really such a bad thing to tap into your feminine side?
