The kitty is out of the bag.  There’s no surprise here that I’m totally a fan of kitty ear headbands … especially pink floral ones. 

In a few months I will be in LA with my friend Lauren of the blog The Curvy Perfectionist.  While we’re there we will be going to see Ariana Grande in concert!

Ariana is notorious for sporting cute kitty ears on stage so I thought these would be perfect to rock during the show.

Weekends are for relaxed, lived in denim, slouchy tanks and bold neon statement jewelry and heels … obvy.

It’s a three day weekend for most (not me unfortunately — hospitals are opened 24 hours 7 days a week) but I’m not complaining.  I’m going to appreciate the time that I do have outside of wearing nursing scrubs.  So that means getting up and getting dressed, putting on some lipstick and start feeling oh so blessed, because I am even when I don’t think so.

I love a top that has a little bit of sass but I think we can all agree that this asymmetrical peplum top from Pink ClubWear has a lot.  And with all this pink in one outfit I felt like a Barbie Girl in a Barbie World. 

Look at the flow and the way it moves honey!  It looks great on a curvier frame and photographs amazingly!

I’m constantly thinking about styling pieces that I have in my closet so I don’t repurchase something that I already have.  This means I will randomly compile a look while I’m in at the grocery store, at the bank, sitting at the drive thru or even at work.

So when inspiration hits I have to jot down on a post it sticky, a napkin or the back of my hand, the pieces of the look I see in my head so I don’t forget.
