I don’t know about you but I have this crazy idea that I can work out and be active without the intentional purpose to lose weight to meet someone else’s idea of having a great year.

My workouts are selfceare sessions.

I love the new winter styles of pixie pants from Old Navy.

From winter floral, jacquard houndstooth, to metallic stripes and gold polka dots, you will find the perfect pair that brings back the fun to your wardrobe this season.

I didn’t take into consideration that it would be way cooler at night and 10º cooler by the water.

I was a bonfire rookie I guess because all the other girls there wore leggings underneath their jeans for added warmth.

I know I’m not alone right … and over the last few years my celebrity-girl-gang-in-my-head has significantly expanded.

Of course it includes OG members like Beyonce, Solange, Mindy Kaling, Oprah and Blake Lively but over the last few years I’ve decided that new age millennial warriors like Yara Shahidi and Rowan Blanchard and ex Nicholas Sparks heroine Mandy Moore are absolutely celebrity-girl-gang-in-my-head material.

I was draped in different shades of red, oh and in different fabrics too.
So there I was fixing my rose hued velvet, satin and corduroy outfit just thinking that I was “it”.

The trick is to have fashion staples that can be worn again in a different style for an entirely different look.

I love using tights as a great transformation piece. Wearing a patterned pair is great for an autumn/winter look under a dark floral print dress.

It’s the quintessential outfit because it can be dressed up or down depending on how you want to style your look and my latest shopping adventure at Old Navy proved to be super successful.
