As I am sure you all have seen, I’ve recently been raving about Macy’s on my Instagram Stories and how it’s my go-to department store for the latest styles in plus. This summer I’m staying cool in this City Chic dress! Not only is the heat and humidity rising outside, but the brand’s styles that are available at Macy’s are fire (insert flame emoji!)

It’s not hard to understand why – Macy’s carries amazing brands that are designed for bodies that look like mine.

Back to School Cool with Levi’s

Notebooks, pencils, binders, oh my! So much comes along with a new school year besides paper supplies; I’m taking about a new wardrobe! Looking back I can always remember that my “go-to back to school style” always included the classics and that means finding the perfect denim that would last the entire year and beyond. Levi’s and Macy’s has got you covered designing their classics in more inclusive styles just in time for back to school.

Macy’s x NY Collection

Do I look tall to you? When people meet me in real life they are always shocked to learn how vertically challenged I am. “You look so tall in your pictures!”

Well, thanks!

That’s always the goal for me. I’m only 5’4 but my body is pretty proportional so it can appear visually taller in photos but I’m more on the petite plus side of things.

Being plus size and petite is a double whammy and although I may not be considered truly petite because I’m over 5′ I do appreciate tailored garments that fit my shorter limbs.

Cable Knits and Ombre Denim with Macy’s

A classic combo that will forever be my Fall-Go-To for weekend style is a great pair of jeans and a knit sweater.

To put a new spin on the classic I like to incorporate new fun details and accessories to make the look fun and completely original like with the unreleased natural cut ombre hem of these jeans.

Speaking of classics, an American retailer that stands the test of the time is Macy’s.
