Unless you’re living under a rock — if you’re well versed and tuned into the plus size community you know that Rochelle of BeautiCurve launched a collection of dresses with Lane Bryant.

It’s a beautiful variety of edgy and feminine pieces that are perfect for all of your Springtime events from weddings, outdoor parties, warm weather date nights and more.

Rochelle was so kind enough to send over a piece from the collection and I literally squealed when I saw it because it was the one I’ve been eyeing!

I’ve teamed up with Simply Be and created 3 looks from their newest arrivals that help ring in the Fall season.

Although I’m at a bit of a disadvantage living in Florida, the whether rarely gives me the opportunity to really get into the Fall spirit, that doesn’t stop me from incorporating trends into my Floridian Fall wardrobe.

If you’ve followed my blog for any amount of time you probably quickly discovered that I’m a dress > pants kinda girl.

Let’s face it, in this heat it’s a miracle I’m wearing any clothing at all!

The trick is to have fashion staples that can be worn again in a different style for an entirely different look.

I love using tights as a great transformation piece. Wearing a patterned pair is great for an autumn/winter look under a dark floral print dress.

I don’t really like to show off my shoulders because I have indentations on them from bra straps being well endowed in the chest area.

Nevertheless, I was determined to find a happy medium where I could wear the trend and still be comfortable in my own skin.
