So if you follow me on SnapChat and Instagram you might have noticed a few weeks back I took a quick trip to South Beach, Miami!  

I was there to celebrate Lane Bryant’s new #ThisBody Campaign as well as the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers featuring Ashley Graham.

I had a great time and got a lot in just 36 hours in SOBE.

I attended the Sports Illustrated Swim Fest where I got to hang out with the Lane Bryant team and the models at the LB Lifestyle Bungalow.

Cardigan weather is the best kind of weather.  

50 degrees weather with no wind, cup of chai tea in hand taking a stroll around the Cummer Gardens is pure happiness.

This outfit from Charlotte Russe isn’t too bad either.

What’s not to love about wearing a chic blanket cardigan?!  It’s a chic alternative to keep warm and cozy without looking ridiculous in a Snuggie in public.

This look will be on repeat as an easy way to look pulled together without much thought.

There is no shortage of what you can do with a tulle skirt.  You can dress it up or down.  Go punk rock or pop princess.  You can go mini, midi or maxi.

The plus size girl and her tutu might be an overly played out look but wearing it as an all white ensemble with pops of cherry red gives this old look a new and enchanting twist. 

I think it must be in the DNA of a girly girl to love tulle in all it’s forms.  I just can’t resist a tutu when I see one regardless of how many I already have.  I did’t have one in white and I wanted to style it differently since the tutu in the plus size world has become an overly saturated fashion staple.

Weekends are made to relax and take it easy so I try to incorporate that in my weekend wardrobe.  I try to go for laid back and easy going without looking too relaxed.  I still want to look put together.   There’s a big difference between casual and Netflix casual if you catch my drift.

Suited and booted in this stylish and vampy chic suit set from Charlotte Russe.

This is not your mother’s 80’s powersuit.  The soft relaxed look of this suit makes it daytime appropriate but the deep luxe color makes it so much edgier — no shoulder pads required.

I decided to keep the look monochromatic with a vampy matte lippie and textured handbag all in the same deep rich hue.  Adding more vamp in different textures helps the colors play off of each other without being overbearing or too matchy matchy.
