So you what is like to be a fashion blogger?  I can only tell you what it’s like for me and it might be different than what you may think.

I wear many different hats: I work full time as a nurse.  I am a caretaker and participate regularly in my local congregation activities.  I hardly live a spectacular, jetsetting, perfectly styled, decorated life.  It’s imperfect, messy and crazy — but it’s mine.

Remember last year when Solange Knowles broke the internet with her nuptials in NOLA?!  Everyone went a little cray, including me.  I’ve been wanting to recreate her stunning wedding look and I found the perfect dress for under $35!

I think Solange is probably one the most fashionable people on the planet.

The plus size girl and her tutu might be an overly played out look but wearing it as an all white ensemble with pops of cherry red gives this old look a new and enchanting twist. 

I think it must be in the DNA of a girly girl to love tulle in all it’s forms.  I just can’t resist a tutu when I see one regardless of how many I already have.  I did’t have one in white and I wanted to style it differently since the tutu in the plus size world has become an overly saturated fashion staple.

Summer is full effect and so are my favorite fashion summertime essentials including all white everything.  

Simple, chic, and fresh an all white ensemble is perfect for summer days and nights.  Not only does wearing all white keep you cooler during those dog days of summer but you can’t help but look cool in the crisp monochrome ‘fit.  Whether you sport a dress or tanks and shorts all white works for all occasions from pool parties and BBQs (just be careful with A1 sauce) to backyard soirees to nautical adventures on the water.
