I’m pleasantly surprised with the items I receive from Deb. I honestly only shopped there one time when I was in high school but their plus size line has improved tons in the last 10 years. True it is junior plus but I have found a ton of stuff that works for my twenty something year old self.

A lot of brands are reinventing themselves. Lane Bryant 10 years ago was geared to the older plus sized woman and Torrid was more emo/gothic at one point but they have rebranded their companies to what we know them as today. I don’t limit myself anymore to what’s age appropriate, straight sized or plus sized. If I like it I try it on and if it works it’s coming home with me! That’s it! I complete agree with you on being drawn to pretty little details. That’s why I love Anthropologie, but I can’t wear all of their pieces. I’m surprised you’re recommending DEB. I haven’t shopped there in a few years because the fashions seemed too young for me. But I love that embellishment on the sweater. I’ll have to give them another chance!
