White Eyelet

Hey everyone,
Summer is in full swing and that means breaking out a summer staple — sundresses!  I love and live in dresses and skirts when I’m not in my work scrubs so when Deb Shops approached me to do a collaboration I was so excited to try out their plus size dresses.

Regardless of your personal taste Deb Shops offers a variety of different styles dresses (high low, maxi and body con).  I tend to go for a fitted and flared dresses — you can’t help but feel like a lady when you wear one.  I fell in love with this white eyelet number –very summer appropriate, super comfortable and lightweight.   It came with a belt but I opted not to wear it with the dress and go for a simple clean look and added color to spice it up.  That’s what I love about a great simple design of a dress — you can make it casual or formal with accessories in a snap.
In review I would give the dress a 7 out of 10.  The hem for me is a bit short,  I like my dresses to hit at the knee.  Their plus sizes also tend to run smaller.  I’m wearing a 3x and it was a little snug but all in all I’m loving the dress and sure it will get plenty of use this summer.  Check out debshops.com for more summer time looks.  I will be featuring more items soon so stay tuned for reviews!

  1. That dress looks really nice. I think you look great with your accessories too. The floral headband helps show off your face.

Personally, I don’t mind the length but it’s your choice 😉
Eyelet fabric is really beautiful and it does look so soft and feminine, even when used in more tailored designs.

I think a flared dress such as this is perfect for the summer and for spending time relaxing with friends.
