I love sharing plus size fashion news with you all because that means we have more options! When the UK Brand Wallis asked me to try a piece from their new plus size line I was pretty excited. I fell for these dramatic and textured trousers that fit perfectly over my hips and belly. It has a smoothing effect and is very flattering on the booty. I turned around and checked myself out in the mirror and was like — “Well, hello there.”
Although right now the the selection is limited I’m hoping this is just the beginning and soon expanding their plus sizes won’t be a nice thought but planned action. As a plus size consumer at the end of the day I just want the same options that are provided for mainstream sizes and although we might not be there yet I believe that soon with efforts like of Wallis and other retailers, plus sizes will mirror the selections for smaller sizes.
