Plus Size Winter Neutrals with Lane Bryant

Okay, so when did it become mid November?!

The year is flying by and I can’t believe that we will soon be in Winter?!  I’m may not be ready mentally but I definitely have my winter wardrobe covered.

Lane Bryant has been dropping some fire new arrivals that are perfect for special occasions, date night, casual chic and office attire.  I can’t keep up with all the goodness.

Long gone are the rules that say that you can’t wear white after Labor Day.

A neutral outfit is such a refreshing take on winter fashion and will give more wear than you might think.

This look has multifaceted.  It really is 3 looks in one.

The robe wrap coat is the perfect outerwear that makes a demure and classy statement.  Think Olivia Pope, looking White House Hot – fixing some political crisis.

It itself makes the outfit with little effort.

But peel back one layer to reveal a double breasted blazer in a warm chocolate plaid.  This is not your average plaid blazer.  The gold button details are luxe and the fit is so spot on.  It’s a great layer piece over a turtleneck or blouse.

What probably my most favorite piece of this outfit are my cream colored cropped wide leg jeans.  I have been on the search for one for what feels like forever.  Finding one that not only trendy detail like a raw hem but also made my butt look great was essential and these are it.

High waisted and super flattering; I paired it with this fun reversible belt and chocolate booties.

Season of Us with Loft

There is no shortage of reasons to celebrate am I right?!

Whether big or small there’s always a good reason to look around and be thankful and maybe pop a little bubbly.

For one thing I’m thankful for you, yes you, the one reading this because we have had a great year together.

How you might ask?

Well, together we have continued to build a community, a resource and social space where we both can share our stories, create connections and find inspiration and encouragement.

I love receiving messages from you of how excited you are to discover new places to shop or different ways to style your beautiful bodies.

This year LOFT has been one of those reasons to celebrate.  Since extending their sizes to include Plus it’s been amazing to see all of you shop and style their looks.

I love sharing outfit inspiration and gift ideas and later seeing how you all interpret that fashion for yourselves.

My latest loves from LOFT are all their blush pink knits like this darling ruffle cuff sweater; it’s equal parts cute and practical.

A great staple that will keep you warm but add flare are these navy blue tights that perfectly pair with the cutest tweed skirt.

Get one for yourself and be that thoughtful friend that gets one for a friend– be stylish warm together this season.  It’s the season of us after all.
