And just like that the weather changes! A few days ago I was pulling out my boots and knits to prepare for some cold weather and now it’s 80 degrees. Jacksonville, Florida has pretty wacky weather and I don’t think I will ever get used to it.
Since it felt more like summer than fall outside I was inspired to wear something floral. These jeans fit perfectly but I had the hem shortened a while back. I tend to go for ankle lengths because when I wear heels they show off the shoes so nicely. To balance out the floral print I wore a solid navy blue double peplum top from ASOS. Isn’t it amazing!? Once I saw it I had to have it — c’mon now it’s a DOUBLE PEPLUM! I love the peplum look and it seems like it will be sticking around for awhile. It’s so flattering and it looks great on any body type (plus they are very forgiving for those not so loving love handles!) Pair them with skinny jeans, leggings, or a pencil skirt for an instant chic look.

Just a few more work days before my crew (Brianna & Jessica) and I head out to Miami for LS 1426 Fashion Week’s big finale — the “Integrating the Runway” Fashion show hosted by ANTM Winner, Whitney Thompson. (The show will feature models sizes 6-26!) If you are going to be in the Miami area get your tickets now! It’s going to be a fabulous time and it’s coming up pretty fast. Knowing me I better start packing now. I know I will only be gone for one night but this lady needs options!
