January 6, 2014
Hey everyone!

So here we are, almost a full week into 2014 and things are just as busy and the pace isn’t slowing down.  Tomorrow is Monday — the most beloved — excuse me — hated day of the week.  Mondays have such a bad rep than let’s say midweek Wednesday and for many reasons,  one of them being that we can see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.  Monday is the beginning, and in the beginning things are always a little rough.  It’s the beginning of hitting snooze too many times, running late with eyes closed tight and mouths opened wide from the perpetual yawn fest soon to follow.  This sweatshirt is the ultimate reflection of my Monday frame of mind.  The location of this shoot is also representative of how I would rather be spending my Monday — poolside working on my chocolate girl tan.

Hope your Monday is a little less sucky.

I have been reading “around” your blog, and it’s inspiring and has a nice “feel” to it. You don’t get blogs like this much. And you are such a lady. You keep it up!

I just discovered your blog for the first time.. You look fantastic! I love your style! I have a hard time keeping up a feminine appearance all the time while having a pixie cut and being curvy (the pixie can be a lot of work). You have a style that says fun, edgy, and classic; I love that you don’t have to be just one. Your blog is definitely inspirational.

I’m so glad you found your way here! Thank you so much for your sweet words : ) Playing dress up is my favorite thing to do. Some days I feel kinda like a rock star and others I want to be girly girl. That’s the best thing to about fashion you can express how you feel without saying a word.

I love how you paired your sweatshirt with the yellow skirt! Comfy yet chic. I wore a bodycon skirt and mustard colored sweater for New Year’s. Feel free to check out my blog post 🙂
