(cup) Cake By The Pound

Since starting this blog I’ve noticed that there’s a group out there of both fat people and non fat people alike that think it’s pretty obnoxious when a fat person wears clothing that may have food printed on it.

My blogger contemporaries will no doubt agree that there is definitely a double standard when it comes to wearing clothing and styles that are readily accepted and praised on a thin body but the same look on a fat one is dismissed, ridiculed, belittled and ostracized.

It’s like social media trolls get alerted to when a plus sized blogger decides to dress differently and steer away from playing it plus size safe.  They all come out from under their figurative bridges and caves and dust off their keyboards to get to work writing the same old unoriginal and routine fat comments.

Do you really think it’s so clever and cheeky to say “She got that way from eating all those cupcakes!” It cracks me up to think how they must have typed out those words with a smirk on their face being so pleased with themselves.  So this post is dedicated to the internet trolls and anyone else that has a problem with me being fat and wearing a cupcake on my shirt.  You should probably chill out and have a cupcake yourself.
