Chic Monochrome Neutrals

A monochromatic look is an effortless way to create a chic look without a lot of fuss.  The simplicity of wearing one color tone is given dimension and dramatized with combining different textures and fabrics.

Once you manage to pick the color that you want to work with don’t be afraid to go bold.

One of my favorite accounts to follow on Instagram is Kahlana Barfield (@kahlanabarfield).  She’s InStyle’s Fashion and Beauty Editor and not to mention a Fashion Slayer.    She’s the Mother of Monochrome Slays.and makes me want to rock a bold red wide leg power suit like no other!

I was inspired by her fearless fashion and love of monochrome with my version with a neutral color.  I found that many new boxy jumper from River Island created contrast against my silky flowy pants.

What do you think?  Is monochrome chic your thang?
